A DISTINCTIVE HOTEL EXPERIENCE

The Break Hotel in Herning consists of 25 hotel apartments, developed and built by Jacobsen Group. I have been involved in the project throughout the entire process as a stylist and interior design consultant, focusing on creating truly distinctive and atmospheric spaces.

The vision was to create hotel rooms that feel cosy, inspiring, and just a little different from the environments people typically surround themselves with at home. For that reason, materials, textures, colours, and furniture have been carefully selected to ensure that every element works together in harmony and contributes to a cohesive overall aesthetic.

ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL

It was important that every single detail was thoughtfully considered, from the larger design decisions down to the smallest lighting elements, in order to create a sense of calm, exclusivity, and contemporary elegance.

REPOSE pendants play an important role in this setting. We chose to use them as bedside lighting, where they are elegantly suspended above the nightstands. This creates a more sophisticated and refined hotel expression than a traditional bedside lamp, while also adding a sense of lightness to the room.

THE SOFT GLOW OF OPAL GLASS

The opal glass is particularly beautiful. Its soft glow and simple form fit perfectly within the overall design concept and help reinforce the calm and exclusive atmosphere we wanted to create at The Break Hotel.
