KASSABLANKA, FUTE and PAN

From June 14th to June 16th, 2024, as part of the 3daysofdesign, visitors had the exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of LYFA and Brdr. Krüger at Bredgade 28B in Copenhagen, where every piece told a story of Danish heritage and pure craftsmanship.

ORIGINS was not merely an exhibition but a celebration of good lighting in all its forms. Showcasing the rich legacy of LYFA, spanning back to 1903, the exhibition featured iconic classics and new releases. Each item resonated with the warmth of Brdr. Krüger wood and the brilliance of light, embodying our commitment to quality and creativity.

ORIGINS delved into the symbiotic relationship between furniture and lightscapes. Each corner and layer of the place was thoughtfully illuminated, accentuating the intricate details and enhancing the ambiance of the space. The immersive experience highlighted the layers of texture and the tactile qualities of raw materials, inviting guests to explore the depth and dimension of wood grains and fabric weaves.

For the occasion, we unveiled three brand-new pieces exclusively at ORIGINS. These creations seamlessly blend modern design sensibilities with time-honored craftsmanship, showcasing our commitment to Danish design heritage. FUTÉ, designed by GamFratesi, made its global debut, embodying the essence of elegance and functionality through meticulous design. KASSABLANKA, a masterpiece of illumination by Simon P. Henningsen, stands out for its unique design. Additionally, the iconic PAN collection, designed by Bent Karlby in 1970, was featured in a new color variation: bronzed aluminum, along with new models and sizes.

Adding another layer of depth to the exhibition, an illustrator artist created canvases that captured the concept behind each piece, providing a visual narrative that further enriched the experience. This interplay between visual and tactile elements enhanced the appreciation of the materials and techniques that define Danish design.
